Well, it's official...

Addyson has said it from the beginning,
and she was right!
Time to trade in some dolls and dress up
clothes for some trucks and trains!

Happy Birthday Addyson

Here is the Birthday girl at her fiesta,
getting ready to blow out her candle!
She somehow forgot how to blow since last year,
it took her about 5 tries, and the rest of the
cupcakes got a sprinkling of bday girl saliva... yum!
We played fiesta games like pin the tail on the donkey,
and of course HAD to have a pinata!
We let the birthday girl take the first
few swings, but she didn't even make a
dent in it!
Cute kiddos filling their bags with loot.
Then time for presents!!
Her favorite present of all?
That's right, this girl has Beiber fever and she's got it BAD!
haha, who knew a 2 pack of spiral notebooks would be her fav!

Our little family
On her actual birthday we celebrated
with donuts, our tradition!
She once again failed at blowing out
her candles
And we finished off the night with some
Steak n Shake, her favorite!!
Maybe it has something to do with a junior
strawberry milkshake she gets all to herself!
Happy Birthday to my sweet and crazy girl,
I can't believe she is 3!

Best Christmas Yet

Christmas with a 2 11/12 year old makes for
one VERY fun Christmas!
This little girl had been talking about Santa
bringing her a scooter for about 6 months
and sure enough, Santa did not disappoint!
She was so excited, that we took it out for a
spin around the neighborhood in our jammies!
Our little fam on Christmas morning
Then it was time to get dressed and pretty for church!
After a short and sweet church service it was
back home, and back in our jammies to open the
rest of our presents!
She was obsessed with opening presents,
she even opened most of mine and Brandon's too!
After each present she opened she'd say
"thank you so much everyone!"
haha what a sweet girl!
In the pile of wrapping paper!
I tried out my camera on manual which hardly
ever happens, but thanks to some help from
Pinterest on changing the settings we captured
these sweet pictures!

Although we missed being with family on
Christmas Day it was still the best Christmas
yet. This little girl of ours made it so much fun!

Her favorite part: singing happy birthday to baby
Jesus and getting to blow out the candle!
Only one more month till it's her candles she'll be
blowing out! (where did my baby go?!)

It's beginning to look a lot like...

CHRISTMAS!!
Just in case you weren't lucky enough
to receive one of these in the mail
(that means I don't have your address)
Here is our Christmas card:
We made the long trek up to the
North Pole...
But it was well worth it, Ad had
a serious order of business to conduct
with Mr. Claus himself.
This little girl wanted to make sure
Santa got the scooter memo loud and clear!
We also let Addyson start in on our
gingerbread house tradition. Usually
the couples in my family do a competition
and the kiddos were always too small to join in.
No competition this year, but Addyson is
practicing for next year, so get ready Thevs!!
We are MORE than excited for Christmas,
especially because this is Addysons first year
to really get into it!
Although it has made me realize how much
I miss Georgia!!

The Happiest Place on Earth

Well last weekend we headed to sunny California
for a much needed get-away!
Destination: Disneyland!!
This little girl will be 3 next month (tear!!)
so we wanted to go one more time while she
was still free! Because we're cheap like that!
This year she had a BLAST meeting all the characters
a big improvement from last year,
where this was as close as she'd get to Pluto!
We met up with our good friend Minnie
Ad LOVES Minnie
Then we headed over to Mickey's house where
we were shocked and surprised at how short he was!!
We are not tall people, but Mickey made us look
like giants!
Then it was off to see the princesses!
We got to meet Arielle, who loved the "A"
on Ad's shirt
Then Cinderella, which is Addyson's favorite!
(like mother like daughter! Cinderella was
my favorite when I was little too!)
And Snow White
Who was surprisingly the same Snow White
we met last year!
Then, because her Daddy loves her, we stood in
line for 30 minutes to meet the one and only...
Tangled!!
aka Rapunzel
Addyson couldn't stop talking about the
pretty flowers in her hair!
Now that we had pics with the celebrities
it was time for more rides!
Dumbo with Dad
And with Mom
Tea cups!
They had an awesome Christmas parade with lots of
characters, and we had front row seats!
It was Ad's favorite part of the day!
After a few more rides we called it a day!
Until next time Disneyland!
We love you!

All Hallow's Eve

A little late posting our Halloween Adventure,
but here it goes:
We headed over to a party with some friends,
and took some pics of the kiddo's in costumes.

Here's us with our cute pirate
Pirate Ada, Pirate Addyson, and Minnie Penny
We enjoyed some delicious dinner, and then it was
time to hit the pavement and put these kiddos to work!
They were HILARIOUS! 4 kids 4 and under is a
very entertaining group! They were all banging on the
door and yelling "fick or feet"(atleast that's how Ad says it)
before anyone even answered the door.
And let me tell you, this little pirate sure knows how to
steal the treasure, and I'm not kidding!! While the friendly
person was complimenting the kids on their costumes and
handing out the candy, this little one would be
grabbing handfuls of candy out of the bowl!
not. kidding.
When the kiddos could no longer carry their buckets
of candy (because they weighed close to 10 pounds)
we headed back for some more fun.

Bobbing for apples!
They didn't quite get it at first....
but then they started dunking their whole heads in...
and looky there, she got one!!
Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween, we sure did!
