We are headed to...

Here's a video of Brandon walking the red carpet
to open his envelope!
That's right we are going to University of Florida
in Gainesville!
Brandon will be doing his preliminary year here in Las
Vegas and then we will be moving NEXT June to Florida,
We couldn't be happier!

Here's our fam, including the protruding baby boy.
We wore blue for good luck and it worked!
Brandon and his friends
We are so excited and relieved to finally
know where we are going.
We are so happy that we will be going to
the east coast.
And Addyson is SO excited to live near Mickey Mouse!
(and I am too! we are definitely getting season passes!)

Over the River...

and to the beach
to DiDi and Grandads we went!

Here is Ad on our long trek across the country,
pulling her carry-on like a trooper!
We made it!
Ad didn't understand why we couldn't go
swimming, but she quickly figured it out
when she felt the water!
We had LOTS of fun doing things like...
making brownies with DiDi
and licking the spoon,
(yes that is brownie in her eye brow!)
climbing the lifeguard stand, AKA
Ad's "pirate ship,"
playing with the dogs,
soaking up the sun,
and burying our feet in the sand!
We also took a ferry ride!
Waiting for the ferry,
on the ferry with DiDi and Grandad
Me and my girl!
resting on Grandad, it was nap time
Ad and Grandad hanging out while DiDi
and I did some shopping!
Addyson's BFF for the week was Jake "puppy"
who is now HUGE and LOVES Addyson!
We went to the aquarium,
and saw lots of alligators!
Ad and I in the shark mouth,
with the giant frog,
and checking out the turtles on the log.
Our last day playing at the beach!
It wouldn't have been a trip the the beach
without a project, so my Mom and I made a
new cushion cover and pillow cover for her chair!
The house is SLOWLY coming together,
hopefully our next trip will involve some
before and after pics of the new house!

Goodbye beach, we miss you already!
I'm already thinking a postpartum trip will be in order!
*note* In no way was this blog post sponsored by GAP,
but it was windy at the beach and I only brought
Addyson one jacket!

Well, it's official...

Addyson has said it from the beginning,
and she was right!
Time to trade in some dolls and dress up
clothes for some trucks and trains!

Happy Birthday Addyson

Here is the Birthday girl at her fiesta,
getting ready to blow out her candle!
She somehow forgot how to blow since last year,
it took her about 5 tries, and the rest of the
cupcakes got a sprinkling of bday girl saliva... yum!
We played fiesta games like pin the tail on the donkey,
and of course HAD to have a pinata!
We let the birthday girl take the first
few swings, but she didn't even make a
dent in it!
Cute kiddos filling their bags with loot.
Then time for presents!!
Her favorite present of all?
That's right, this girl has Beiber fever and she's got it BAD!
haha, who knew a 2 pack of spiral notebooks would be her fav!

Our little family
On her actual birthday we celebrated
with donuts, our tradition!
She once again failed at blowing out
her candles
And we finished off the night with some
Steak n Shake, her favorite!!
Maybe it has something to do with a junior
strawberry milkshake she gets all to herself!
Happy Birthday to my sweet and crazy girl,
I can't believe she is 3!

Best Christmas Yet

Christmas with a 2 11/12 year old makes for
one VERY fun Christmas!
This little girl had been talking about Santa
bringing her a scooter for about 6 months
and sure enough, Santa did not disappoint!
She was so excited, that we took it out for a
spin around the neighborhood in our jammies!
Our little fam on Christmas morning
Then it was time to get dressed and pretty for church!
After a short and sweet church service it was
back home, and back in our jammies to open the
rest of our presents!
She was obsessed with opening presents,
she even opened most of mine and Brandon's too!
After each present she opened she'd say
"thank you so much everyone!"
haha what a sweet girl!
In the pile of wrapping paper!
I tried out my camera on manual which hardly
ever happens, but thanks to some help from
Pinterest on changing the settings we captured
these sweet pictures!

Although we missed being with family on
Christmas Day it was still the best Christmas
yet. This little girl of ours made it so much fun!

Her favorite part: singing happy birthday to baby
Jesus and getting to blow out the candle!
Only one more month till it's her candles she'll be
blowing out! (where did my baby go?!)
