Tourists in Our Own City

One of my best friends from Georgia came to visit us

this past weekend. We had lots of fun showing her

"Sin City". Here's a little of what we did.

First we hit up the famous Vegas sign!

Brandon has lived in Vegas since he was 7 and this

was his first time taking a pic with the sign!

We went to M&M World.

Addyson was not so sure about having her

picture taken with the M&M (which was a

nice heads up for our trip to Disneyland this weekend!)

A Weekend in Boulder

Addyson and I went on a spontaneous trip to Boulder

last weekend to visit my brother and sister!

We couldn't resist a $60 plane ticket and the chance

to see most of my fam!! (My parents and brother also came)

The weather was AMAZING!

On Thursday we headed down to the creek.

She loved watching the water, and wanted

to jump right in!

On Friday we headed to Pearl Street for

some shopping and some dinner.

On Saturday we went to the farmer's market.

Then we went to Red Rocks for the Avett Brothers concert.

It was a quick but fun trip! Ad was spoiled with

attention and loved every second of it!

I enjoyed seeing my fam, and LOVED the nice weather!

It's HOT here!

So we are trying to enjoy our time here in Vegas,

but unfortunately it is just too dang hot in this town!

This past week we went to a minor league baseball

game, which was at 7:00pm, and it was still over

100 outside! Don't get me wrong, it was still fun,

but I'm ready for some cooler temps!

Later in the game we got her a bag of

Cracker Jacks which were her new best friends!

She loved them!

she was not very fond of sharing!

Well later in the week Heidi and I had a much needed

girls day. We went up to the outlets and out to lunch.

And let me just say we shopped, till our girls dropped.

(they were honestly AMAZING!)

She takes her job as dog walker very seriously.

It's small and cozy but it fits us perfectly!

Our Crazy Girl

This little girl of ours is CRAZY.

She is so fun, but she is totally wild.

She has just started feeding herself, much to

my dismay (I don't like messes). But she will

NOT eat if I try to feed her.

Here she is enjoying some yogurt for breakfast.

YUM!

The other day she found a highlighter.

She usually is good with them, she just likes to

take the lid on and off, but this day she tried

something new. I think she has been watching

Mommy put on her makeup.

I sure hope I don't look like that after

I put my make up on!

Here she is riding her friends bike in style,

sportin' bed head and pink shades.

She has also turned into a little fish.

She is absolutely fearless when it comes

to swimming. She jumps right in, goes under

the water and kicks around the whole pool!

She absolutely loves the pool!

Next year she'll be swimming laps

and learning how to dive. Watch out!!

P.S. She is now 18 months

so she can start going to nursery at church.
