Brian Head Weekend

We spent the weekend in Brian Head with our best buds
the Clarke's last weekend.
We sewed, we ate, we played in the snow, we watched
lots of movies, hit the slopes, ate some more and had a blast!

The Girls
Heidi, Penny, Addyson, Ada, and Me

Our fam

Addyson in the tube, loving it.

Sledding with Daddy.

Addyson insisted on playing on the playground,
which was buried in snow

Then we built a snowman...
Ad liked it

Ada didn't care about it, and Penny HATED it...

SEE! She hated it. Ok, so it was nap time, but still!

Me and Ad with our snowman and matching headbands!
It was a fun weekend, although we are now
dealing with SICK girls!

Christmas time!

Here is Addyson and her cousin Hannah on
Christmas Eve with their matching jammies on.
Reading The Night Before Christmas
with Grandad and DiDi
CHRISTMAS morning!
Ad and all the presents!
Playing with her new toys!
And the favorite gift of the year award goes to the
Mickey PEZ dispenser from the $1 store, who knew?!
Our fam on Christmas morning.
Addyson, in a giant stocking!
Outside, in the snow, saying hi to Mickey!
(I promise it was snowing, it just wasn't sticking)
It was the first time since the 1800's that it snowed
on Christmas day in Georgia!
The girl cousins in their matching dresses!
Hope everyone had a great Christmas, we sure did!

Babyland General

My parents decided to get all of the grand babies
Cabbage Patch Dolls for Christmas,
so we headed to Babyland General of course!
Babyland General is every little girls dream (and big girls too!)
It's a hospital where cabbage patch babies are
born, named, and up for adoption!
Look how cute it is!
And look who was there to greet us!!
SANTA!
Here is Addyson, showing Santa her boots, of course?!
She was not so sure about this guy, but she also didn't
cry which was shocking!
She wouldn't talk to him, or look at him
and by this point she had had enough!
Time to go see the CPK's!
First we check out the newborn nursery,
and cousin Hannah fit right in!
Here we are in front of the cabbage patch.
Addyson enjoyed styling some hair,
and eating some lunch with her CPK pals.
And she picked out her very own doll to bring home!
(and I forgot to take a picture of that, whoops!)
Here is a clip of a cabbage patch doll being born.
It was so fun and so cute!
Next post: CHRISTMAS!

Stone Mountain Georgia

We went to Stone Mountain for the evening with the
fam. First up we watched the Polar Express 4d movie.
Am I the only one who thinks getting water squirted
at them is not fun? Just wondering.
Next, we watched the parade! They sang, they danced,
and we saw...
SANTA!!
Sitting in the stroller lasted about 5 minutes,
riding on Grandad's shoulders is much more fun!
Here we are enjoying our endless hot chocolate.
I think I had like 4, and that was 3 too many!
Then we went on a train ride around the mountain.
There were Christmas lights, and a story about the birth
of Jesus. Addyson was obsessed with the train!
Then we took pictures with Santa!
Ok, so obviously not the REAL santa,
he charges $20 bucks a picture!
And one with DiDi and Grandad too!
We watched a few other shows, had to
dry Addyson's pants off in the bathroom
(those Xcelerator dryers work great for
peed pants!), drank more hot chocolate,
saw a snow angel fly across the sky, and
watched fireworks!
Such a fun night!

Next stop on our Jam Packed Trip to GA:
Babyland General, where Cabbage Patch Kids
are born. Also where Santa does not charge
$20 per picture!
