A Busy Weekend

We have had a fun and busy weekend.
We started it off a little early by going to a Reno Ace's
baseball game on Thursday evening. It was fun to just
hang out as a family in the nice weather.

This was the only picture from the evening, Ad did not
want her picture taken, and she was busy watching the
guys that were sitting behind us.
And as of Friday afternoon Brandon is a 3rd year Med student
and I am unemployed!! YAY for both!
Brandon is excited to start working in the hospital,
and I am excited to not be stuck at home all day
with two one year olds!

Friday evening was the Clinician ceremony
for the 2nd years getting ready to start in the
clinical setting.

Here is our family after the ceremony.
And here we are with our best friends, the Clarke's
Then I made this cake for my friends little girls
3rd birthday! Happy Birthday Sadie!!
Unfortunately Ad and I couldn't go to the princess party on
Saturday because we went to Sacramento for the day!

First we hit up Chick-fil-A for breakfast,
then a little shopping,
We took a break from shopping to check out the fountains.

And then we went to the zoo!!
Addyson LOVED seeing all of the animals,
especially the giraffes
Mommy and Ad with the giraffes
Checking out the creepy wooden monkey
Taking a break for some lunch
Ad checking out the giraffes one more time before we left
(she cried after we left them the first time)
Addyson the zoo keeper
We saw Lions, and sleeping tigers, and red panda
bears, oh my!! And giraffes, lemurs, lots of birds,
a rat eating the birds food, zebras, ostriches,
kangaroos, reptiles, and hyenas.

It was such a fun day at the zoo, and a fun weekend
overall. Now I'm going to sit back, relax, and let
Brandon do all of the cooking today so I can
enjoy Mother's Day!

15 Month Stats

So there has been NOTHING fun going around
at the Radmall home lately. It's finals week,
and we are starting to think about packing, so
we have been busy, with boring stuff!

Addyson and I just got back from her 15 month old
check up, and according to her doctor she is "perfect"
yes, that's what he said, I like him!
She's in the 20th percentile for weight, coming
in at a whopping 21 lbs.
And she's in the 40th percentile for height.
The weird thing is she has freakishly huge feet...
see look at those, she is wearing a women's size 8!!
haha ok, so her new favorite thing is to wear mine
or Brandon's shoes around the house, but the
doctor did say "she has nice sized feet" whatever
that means!!

This little girl has recently become a picky eater,
but I can always depend on yogurt, applesauce,
any fruit, and Annie's crackers (of any kind)
to fill her tummy.

She still is not talking (at all!!)
She does make lots of sounds, and on occasion
there might be a "dada" thrown in, rarely a
"mama." She did say "baby" for a day or two,
but she is SO over that one I guess. She is
a swearer though!! we have to tell her to sit
down multiple times a day, and she hears us tell
her doggy to sit down multiple times a day, so
the only word she will say is "sit", and on more
than one occasion she adds an "h" right after
that "s". We can't help but laugh.

We sure do like this girl!

Fun Weekend

One of my best friends, Amber, was in town this
weekend so we got to go out to dinner and catch up.
I hadn't seen Amber in a year and half (my baby shower)
and so she had never met Ad!!
It was so good to see her and her hubby!!
us with crazy little Addyson
The next night we had a PAR-TAY!!
My friend Natalie turned 30, so we went ALL out on
a girls night to celebrate.
Here are 2 of my favorite people,
getting pedicures.
all of our pretty toes!
out to dinner at a Japanese steakhouse!
It was so good, and so fun, and we laughed SO hard.
I am go to miss these girls so much!!!
(luckily I'm bringing Heidi with me to Vegas!)
We finished off the night with THIS amazing cake (it only
took Heidi 5 hours to make) but it was worth it!

Weekend in Vegas

We made a very quick trip down to Vegas last weekend
to look for a place to live. In midst of house looking
we did find time to eat out at our favorite restaurants,
take a ride on a choo choo train, let Ad go on her first
motorcycle ride, and jumped on the trampoline lots.

On the choo choo

first motorcycle ride
(I had some of you fooled didn't I?!)
jumping
jumping
running
(yeah, she's running now)
and more jumping
(Note: I don't let my baby out of the house
in scandalously short dresses, that is a shirt
and she peed her pants, so they were in the wash)

and here's a sneak peek at our soon to be
new home (hopefully!)

Crazy Baby

This was from a few weeks ago,
but I just wanted to show you the
craziness I deal with on a daily basis.

Happy Easter

We had a belated Easter egg hunt for Addyson,
since we spent half of Easter in the car.
Also note that my child completely ignores me
when I have my camera, so enjoy looking at the
top/back of her head.
Here she is off and running!
Quite a collection
Checking them all out.
Choosing some faves.
Emptying her basket, so she could
pick them up again!
Trying to lift her crystal Easter basket,
it was heavy!
cutie
Trying to get her to pose for a pic,
obviously not happening!
I sure do like her!

Just a little dramatic

So, while in Utah this past weekend,
we tried taking Addyson to the pool,
she loved the pool last summer, but it's
been 8 months since she's been in one.

Here's how it went:
She FREAKED out, couldn't handle it, and
screamed like a crazy lady!
I was a mean mom, and didn't give up
I was determined for her to like it!
30 minutes later,
she was LOVING it!
I'm glad I was mean and made her stay in,
it was so worth it, later she cried when
it was time to go. That girl is SO
dramatic!
