Happy Halloween!

We had such a fun Halloween this year!
I bought Addyson a mouse costume last year on sale after Halloween.
I wasn't sure I wanted to use it or not,
but after trying it on her a month ago and almost
peeing my pants, Brandon and I decided we HAD to!
Here are my two favorite people at trunk or treat!
Look at that stink eye she is giving me!
Once again, another stink eye!
Reading her Halloween card from her Didi and Grandad!
Mouse photo session
she cracks me up!
Tche wasn't quite sure what the heck that thing was!
I think he looking for an afternoon snack.
On Halloween!
This was my genius idea to get her to pose with the pumpkin.
BAD IDEA.
Immediately after this picture was taken
she took a nose dive into the pumpkin and got
a stem in the face!
That made for a very sad mouse!
Mouse, Unicorn, and Tinkerbell, ready for some
Trick or Treating!
We had fun taking all of the kiddies around the neighborhood.
Thank you to Addyson for letting us use her to get candy.
Maybe next year we will let you eat a piece!

Busy Baby

I have a very, very busy baby on my hands lately.
Busy doing what you ask?
Well, let me just show you!
While I am busy putting groceries away,
she is busy taking them back out!

She has been busy trying to see how many things she can hold onto and stand up.
She has been busy learning how to crawl up the stairs.
It's true, she can do it!
While we are busy loading the dishwasher,
she is busy unloading it!
Yep, that's a knife!
What? you don't let your 9 month old play with knives?
taking a break to eat a dirty fork, YUM!
back to work!
She wants to stand CONSTANTLY
She is eating and snacking A TON
She wants to be held A LOT
She is SUPER fun,
but SUPER busy.
We LOVE her!

to my friends that suck at blogging...

to my friends that suck at blogging:
You know who you are,
don't act like you don't.
Don't you love looking at your "good"
blogger friends posts?
Well we would love looking at your blog too...
if you ever decide to post anything!

You probably think you're too busy,
or that you have nothing fun to blog about.
Well trust me,
as a stay at home mom who changes
about 10 diapers a day...
your life is interesting!
and I do want to hear about it!

the moral of this story is,
I miss my friends that are far away,
so please blog so it doesn't seem like you're that far

And those of you who are good bloggers,
you know who you are,
thank you for your blogs,
I thoroughly enjoy them!

Pumpkin Patch Take 3

We saved the best pumpkin patch for last!
A few of my friends and their kiddos were headed on a day trip to Bishop's Pumpkin Patch, in Wheatland California last week, it took no convincing for Addyson and I to go along!
After a longer than expected drive (freeway construction)
we arrived, hungry!!
After a quick lunch of some yummy hand dipped corn dogs
we were off to have some fun!
Here's A, ready to go!
Look at these cuties, posing in front of the sunflower field
Look at those sunflowers! I was tempted to bring a bunch home,
but after finding out they were $1.50 each, I decided I could live without
Cute girls again, in the COOL bus!
get it?! cool bus, instead of school bus!?
those clever people!
Addyson took a break from the stroller to play with the grass.
what a goober!
She's a cute goober, but still a goober!
That girl is so skinny,
but still somehow manages to sport a double chin!
The train just honked its horn, it caught the girlies off guard!
watching the train go by,
catching flies
look at all those pumpkins!
they were huge!
on the train!
This was the only picture I got of her looking at me,
she spent the ENTIRE train ride
STARING
at the guy behind us
we took a quick roll in the hay
and then called it a day!
(did you like that rhyming, or what?!)
And that concluded our 3rd and final pumpkin patch for the year.
This pumpkin patch gets 5 stars from me!
It was so much fun, and I can't wait to go back next year and bring Brandon with us!

Pumpkin Patch Take 2

Brandon and I decided to take Addyson to a pumpkin patch this weekend.
We wanted to see how good or lame the ones in Reno are.
And it was almost dinner time, so we were excited to see what yummy snacks there would be...
maybe some kettle corn? caramel apples?
pumpkin pie? bread? or ice cream?

Here they are checking out the animals
Cuties in front of the corn
Me and my girl!
Posing in front of the tractor.
This was her first time sitting in her own chair, all by herself.
She is getting way too big, way too fast!
the scarecrow really works!!!!
if 8 month old babies is who they are trying to scare off!
Well the pumpkin patch was pretty lame,
the snacks were non existent, unless I wanted water, soda, or skittles,
but we had fun as a fam,
and came home with a good lookin' pumpkin!
Stay tuned for pumpkin patch take 3. (it's true!)
We saved the BEST for last!

Dining Room

I just finished our dining room in time for a dinner party this week.
Here are some pictures!
We do have more than 2 chairs (finally!!!), but right now I use 1 at my desk and 1 at my sewing table.
I turned this ugly, crappy, free, little lady
into this charming piece to hold linens, extra dishes, and whatever else!
now I just need to sew some valances for the living room and find some pictures for the office and we will be complete...
well, for now at least!

Weekend Away

Addyson and I went to San Francisco for the weekend to visit my best friend and to get out of Brandon's way while he studied for a BIG test. It was a quick 3 1/2 hour drive, and worth every minute.
we went to Half Moon Bay... it was beautiful!
it was perfect weather, little A loved it!
playing with Siera!
sooooo pretty!
girls rule!
then we went to the pumpkin patch!
I was SO excited...
then meltdown #1 occurred!
snapped a few cute pics
then meltdown #2
Mom came in to save the day...
then meltdown #3, that was our cue to leave
Miss A was happier just hanging out at the house!
We had a fun weekend filled with shopping, cooking, crafting, and just having fun!
Thanks Siera for a great weekend.
And thank you Josh for letting us girls take over your place!
